Description

Handmade Puerto Rican Cuatro by renowned luthier Frank Cruz. Limited edition with the Artist Signature of the cuatrista Maribel Delgado and her virtual school Cuatristas.com. This series was designed for Maribel with the specifications of professional quality, comfort and sound qualities. Aware of the importance of these elements, we offer this formidable model for the cuatrista, with an Englemann spruce pine top, a poplar sound box, a wengé wood bridge and an ebony fingerboard. Its fine details are epoxy resin inlays. It has an adjustable rod on the fingerboard. The design of its rosette with the Puerto Rican flag and maga flowers (a representative flower of Puerto Rico) was designed exclusively for this limited series. A Puerto Rican cuatro that stands out enormously for its tone, timbre and sound quality.

A handcrafted instrument, produced in small quantities and with a careful manufacturing process to guarantee an optimal result.

She is beautiful!

She is beautiful! My Tiple arrived sooner than expected, so I was pleasantly surprised. I adore this instrument as she sings clear, bright, and with a nice sustain. The craftsmanship is excellent, eveyone compliments its appearance and sound. She will be a perfect little sister to my cuatro and guitar. My son who plays a ukelele has taken a liking to it and getting him involved playing traditional puertorican music with me and his uncles would be nice. Thank you, Luthier Frank Cruz & Maribel, for my lovely instrument, and for making Tiples available as living in the states it is difficult to find one.
